⚡ Check fees before you deposit

Mobile money networks charge transaction fees, and operators decide whether to pass them on. Some operators advertise that they cover these fees; we have not verified this for any operator. Check the cashier page and your mobile money confirmation message to see what you actually paid and received. In Kenya, a 5% excise duty also applies to the amount deposited into a customer's betting wallet.

How this list is put together, what we checked, and what you should check

Order. Order of this list: a fixed position we set for each operator ourselves, the same on every page of this site. It is not a quality score and not a licence ranking - we do not score operators.

Welcome offers. We do not list offer amounts on this page. Offer terms vary by country - see the operator's current T&Cs.

Licences. we publish a licence claim only where we could check an official register, which today means Nigeria (Lagos State), South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda. For every other country, check the licence details on the operator's own site before you deposit.

How to read a card. The “what this operator advertises” list is what the operator itself puts on its own site and in its terms, read at our desk on 22 September 2026. We have not opened accounts, made test deposits or taken withdrawals, so nothing on these cards is a measurement.

What to check yourself, on any operator here.

  • Whether the operator is licensed where you live: licensing differs from country to country.
  • The welcome-offer terms on the operator's own site: wagering, minimum odds, expiry and any maximum cash-out.

Guide to Mobile Money Betting

When comparing mobile money betting sites, look at which networks are accepted in your country, the fees you pay on deposits and withdrawals, withdrawal limits, and whether the operator is licensed where you live. The information on this page is desk research; we have not run our own payment tests.

How On-Phone Payment Prompts Work

Many operators use an STK (SIM Toolkit) push prompt, so you do not have to type a Paybill or merchant number yourself.

The API Handshake

When you enter a deposit amount, the operator asks the mobile money network (for example through Safaricom's Daraja API) to send a payment prompt to your phone showing the amount and the merchant name. You check the name, enter your PIN, and the deposit is credited once the network confirms it. Never enter your PIN for a prompt you did not start.

Data-Free Apps: Betting Without Wi-Fi

Mobile data is expensive in many African markets, so some operators advertise "data-free" access where they pay for the data (reverse billing) on particular networks.

Zero-Data MoMo Integration

Where an operator has such an arrangement with your network, parts of its site or app may not use your data bundle. Coverage differs by operator and network and often excludes some sections, so check the operator's terms before relying on it for a mobile money withdrawal.

MoMo Betting FAQs

It varies by operator. The mobile money transfer itself is usually quick once the operator releases it, but operators may review withdrawals first, especially the first one or large amounts. We have not measured payout times.
Yes, telecom providers enforce daily transaction limits to comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws. Operators also set their own minimum and maximum amounts. For larger amounts a bank transfer may be needed; check the current limits with your network and operator.
